Third and Final Year at Birmingham City University
September 2018 - May 2019
Whilst the majority of my final year of university was consumed by the planning and execution of my dissertation and final project; my first semester I completed modules on client-based events planning, music industry innovation and affects & emotion in the media.
For the Music Industries module, I worked within a team to create Industree Music - a social enterprise that endeavoured to broaden opportunities for graduates and interns across the UK, in the form of a website. We wanted to showcase internships that offer real opportunities in the music industries that would develop skills and widen the horizons for our users. Our target audience was interns, graduates and young media professionals.
Once again I worked as a researcher for the project, compiling information on our target audience, market segmentation and created a customer profile to be used in our marketing and development of our product.
Second Year at Birmingham City University
September 2017 - May 2018
Here is a collage of images taken from my tv production module and event module.
For my tv module, I was a researcher and revised my role of sound supervisor - however, I, unfortunately, have no images of myself behind the desk.
Then as part of my events module, I worked within a group to create an event which brought therapy dogs into the university to promote students to take a break and look after their mental health.
The event was largely successful as we had students queueing to enter.
These modules were my favourite production modules from the second year - as they were both hands on and each day was filled with tasks and challenges to overcome.
For my Music Promotion and PR module in my second year of university I worked within a team to create a PR agency, 'Off Scale'.
We worked with a Birmingham Local band called 'Only Shadows'

I created this during my first year of college, with the same team of people that I worked with on my coursework.

We created this 'advert' for Doc Martens, to represent how fun and creative the brand is - we edited this piece using Adobe Premier Pro CC and Adobe Photoshop to create the polaroid style shots.
